Sorry, but then you're just doing something wrong. Re-read the manual: https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/tools/colorize_mask.html Most probably you didn't make strokes outside of your lineart to indicate that you want those parts transparent. Colorize Mask doesn't work like a Fill Tool, it will assume you want the whole canvas red if you put only red strokes on it. It's all explained in the manual. Created attachment 120194 [details] 20190519_163856.jpg I did make strokes outside of my line art. But as I said when I do that and I update it. It just makes a mix out of all the colors and then covers the whole canvas. I can't even see my line art after it goes this. The fill tool even does the same thing. The back ground is supposed to be black and the ground a dark green with the tree's being a dark drown.
