SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable libjingle support in the XMPP/Jabber settings
2. Kernel has to be above 5.0.x
3. libjingle-call will always crash and send segfault messages to the kernel

OBSERVED RESULT

Every few seconds libjingle-call segfaults - spawns a new process and segfaults again until you turn off libjingle support in Kopete

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
