SUMMARY

It would be nice of WiFi access points created using Plasma Network Manager could be displayed as QR codes, to allow easy connection using mobile devices, e.g. to be scanned using bar code scanner apps for Android or iOS.

OBSERVED RESULT

Typing WiFi access point passwords into my Android phone after defining it using Plasma Network Manager is cumbersome.

EXPECTED RESULT

Using a bar code scanner to take a "photo" of a QR code that is displayed by Plasma Network Manager would be a lot simpler.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.0.9 / 5.15.4
KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4
