Correction, sub-directories are also affected by this bug. This also affects the find and replace tool, which duplicates results. I haven't tried doing an actual replace, as it may result in SERIOUS issues to my code if it attempt to overwrite the file twice. I'm on kubuntu 19.04 Ok, good :) Thank you for your work in addressing this bug report. Please forgive my confusion, but if the bug was fixed in 19.04, why am I still experiencing this issue? It is fixed in Kate 19.04, not Kubuntu 19.04. You could ask in a forum of your distribution how to add backport PPAs to get the newest Kate versions. |
