SUMMARY
Discover would not work. Darktable would not work.

Discover:
Not possible to install the updates that are shown (answer: "dpkg was interrupted..." (too fast to read...))

Darktable:
Not possible to start darktable: "Fehler beim Sperren
der Datenbank". Not possible to uninstall darktable.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Anklicken "Aktualisierungen" (rechts unten)
2. Anklicken "Aktualisierungen ansehen"  Display: zeigt die Liste (21 Aktualisierungen)
3. Anklicken "alles aktualisieren"

OBSERVED RESULT
Display: Sperrung nicht möglich, dpkg was interrupted. You must manually...

EXPECTED RESULT
display "updated"

I'm a German user. Software displays "half english/half german" language

It reads to me like there was some packaging issue that didn't let some installation succeed. I'd recommend contacting your distributor and discuss with them what to do.
