Do you have downloaded version 19.04.0-2? If not follow this steps: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=265&t=160337#p415946 Hi emohr. Yes I was using 19.04.0-2. So I did a new fresh/clean install. 1) Uninstalled kdenlive 2) deletet folder under APPDATA local and roaming 3) Restart PC 4) Installed kdenlive 19.04.0-2 5) Restart PC 6) Tried kdenlive but it crashes again. Unfortunately I cannot start the program again after the crash now. I have to restart my pc to use it again, but the program keeps crashing. I also didn't find the programm running in the background with my taskmanager after crashing. THis is weird. Update: So I found a file called "kdenliverc" in my AppData/Local folder. I deleted it and made a new install. Now everything is working! So now I can create new Folders but I cannot add any clips (image, videos). Just a tiny error message "Cannot open file C:/Users/xxxx/Desktop/activate.png". Color and Title clip are working. But nothing else. Arg. Me again. After a restart, everything is working fine again. This is driving me crazy. :) Oh and thanks for your amazing work. You and your team are the best. Thank you!! Load clips from the same drive as Kdenlive is installed could be a problem. Just drag/drop it into the bin instead. If something is blocking delete the Kdenliverc file or the cache. After you delete Kdenliverc you haven’t to re-install. Just start Kdenlive again. It seems it works. We close this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number. |
