it's still happening, I can reproduce with Elisa 19.12.1
Watch the attached screen recording please.
When I open Elisa, icon of the applet is present in systray settings.
But when I start playback, such icon disappears.

Players affected on my system: Lollypop 1.0.6 Clementine 1.3.1 Strawberry 0.5.3 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open, via Dolphin, a flac file using any player mentioned above 2. open systray settings, click "Entries" in the left side 3. OBSERVED RESULT As we can see in attached screenshot, the icon of the Media Player applet is missing EXPECTED RESULT The icon of the Media Player applet is present SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.57.0 Qt Version: 5.12.2
