NOTE: I'm on Kontact version 5.10.1. I've preformed multiple update attempts but 5.10.3 doesn't seem to be available for my version of Neon. I noticed this only seems to be an issue with one of my email accounts (KolabNow). The other two (Gmail and Hotmail) seem to work fine. In my akonadi log, I see LOTS of entries similar to this; org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Payload file "/home/<user>/.local/share/akonadi/file_db_data/26/56126_r67" could not be open for reading! org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Error: "No such file or directory" I can provide full logs if that would help. More interesting logs I noticed, which might be more closely related to the root cause of the problem; org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Multiple merge candidates: org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: ID: 18950 , RID: "3667" , GID: "" , Collection: "Trash" ( 145 ) , Resource: "akonadi_kolab_resource_2" ( 10 ) org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: ID: 18984 , RID: "3667" , GID: "" , Collection: "Trash" ( 145 ) , Resource: "akonadi_kolab_resource_2" ( 10 ) org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Error while handling command CreateItem on connection akonadi_kolab_resource_2 (0x5585e1210a70) org.kde.pim.akonadicore: Creating/updating items from the akonadi database failed: "Multiple merge candidates, aborting" org.kde.pim.akonadicore: Error during ItemSync: "Multiple merge candidates, aborting" I seem to have fixed the issue by recreating my Kolab account as a generic IMAP server instead of the Kolab Groupware (which was setup in a unique way since there's another bug that prevents username/password from being entered when configuring Kolab Groupware via Kmail. Account was set up in the Notes section of Kontact then updated in Kmail settings) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 400581 *** |
