SUMMARY
As described in the initial summary. I had to resort to nmtui to perform the connection, and it worked perfectly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Attempt to connect to WPA2 secured network (Using TPlink Archer T4U v3, if that is relevant to the issue)

Password dialogue is brought back up

A successful network connection

Thanks for the bug report, and I'm sorry nobody looked at it. A ton has changed in the past 6 years; can you still reproduce this issue in Plasma 6.5 or later? Thanks a lot!
