In Kdenlive, the mouse scroll wheel has the following functions in the timeline:
* Scroll Wheel = scroll horizontally
* Ctrl + Scroll Wheel = zoom
* AFAIK, there is no way to scroll vertically with a large number of tracks present except by grabbing the scrollbar.

I would like to request to have the option to use conventional scroll wheel navigation for the timeline instead:
* Scroll Wheel = scroll vertically
* Shift + Scroll Wheel = scroll horizontally
* Ctrl + Scroll Wheel = zoom

This is how most software works, including GIMP, Inkscape, MuseScore, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Libreoffice, just to name a few. When every other program uses this convention, switching to Kdenlive really messes with my muscle memory. I realize making this the default might frustrate existing Kdenlive users who are used to the current workflow, but I would love to see this as an option at least.
