Tested as you descript (source footage and Kdenlive-file in same folder) with the refactoring version (Windows, AppImage). It loads the complete project. With which version do you work? Is this a Fedora issue? Thanks for testing. I also tested with Ubuntu, completely new installation. AppImages of refactoring as well as stable version. Also the version from the ubuntu repositories. All show the same result. HOWEVER, I took the time and tested on another computer! Here it works fine!!! It is also Ubuntu 18.10, but other Desktop (budgie instead of gnome). So, I am sorry, that this is not really reproducable :-(. For completeness, I added again a description of the problem, but note, that even I cannot produce it on other computers! I opened the project file with an editor and when I store the project in the same folder as the video, the project file refers to the plain file name of the video (no prepended path). When saving the project at another place and then open the project file, I can see the absolute path of the video there. First case fails to reopen. Actually it opens and shows the video still there, but it won't play. When trying to reload the video I get the message, that the video is invalid and it will be removed ... Hi Can you please try with latest appimage and see if you can reproduce the issue? Otherwise please close it. sorry, that I cannot test this anymore, since I don't have the computer with the issue available anymore. So I will close it. thanks for asking! |
