This started happening in the last couple of days. The only thing I have changed on my computer is that I installed Office 365 UWP, then Office 365 desktop

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Press side button on surface pen
2. Tap the screen

OBSERVED RESULT
Result: Circle menu appears, then disappears the moment the pen lifts off the screen.

Um... If you didn't change Krita, then this probably isn't a bug in krita, but a problem with something else that changed stuff on your system?

I have some more information:

The bug only happens when I press Tab to enter full screen mode. When tab mode is active, the circle menu goes away immediate unless I do just a very tiny tap. When tab mode is off,

… continuing: When the tab mode is off, the menu comes up and stays up every time, regardless of how I tap the screen

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this on my Yoga 920; but there I only have to press the pen button, I do not have to tap the screen with the pen with the button pressed. I suspect Office changed some of the Windows Pointer settings to something else -- and I don't think we can do anything about that.
