The problem is that the compression mode of that PSD file is not supported. I notice that gimp also cannot open this file. Which application was the PSD made with? When debugging I also get an illegal value when reading the layer/mask length value (38 instead of 0, 20 or 36) When I open the file in photoshop and save it again, it asks me whether I want to save with "maximum compatibility". So the question is: * did you save this file from photoshop or another application? and if from photoshop, * was compatibility enabled? (In reply to Boudewijn Rempt from comment #2) > Which application was the PSD made with? When debugging I also get an > illegal value when reading the layer/mask length value (38 instead of 0, 20 > or 36) Last saved in the online editor (https://videovegas.ru/editor-format-psd-online). I have no other editing application. Then I suspect that that editor has a bug; it's saving non-conforming psd files, and I bet the authors of that application have only tested with Photoshop, instead of following the psd specification. May be. I hope you fix it so that your program does not crash. Thx. Please tell the authors of the webapp that they should test their product with more applications than just Photoshop. You can also point them at https://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/photoshop/fileformatashtml/ Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed. In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information. I'm sorry, but we cannot start adding workaround for other, buggy applications. |
