I have discovered that this happens when there is a second notification widget on another screen with "Track file transfers and other jobs" enabled (which is the default). Workaround: Turn off "Track file transfers and other job" in second notification widget. Closing as it is no longer applied with latest notification framework. |
Created attachment 118869 [details] Bug demo SUMMARY Opening any Google Drive file will trigger 4 notifications in total which is a bit annoying. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open any Google Drive file OBSERVED RESULT There are two "Examining Finished" notifications. Afterward: + If opening app is KDE app, two other "Examining Finished" notifications appear. + If opening app is non-KDE app, two other "Copying Finished" notifications appear. EXPECTED RESULT There should be ideally only one notification or may be none at all. I think the plasma "loading icon" and the app icon "bouncing" are already enough to provide visual progress.
