Kate (places)
Falkon explicitely requests to only consider local files (file:// protocol). All other entries are thus hidden. I think there is a KIO support plugin for Falkon, but I am not sure if this also affects the file dialog filtering. Reassigning for inspection. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 406323 *** |
Created attachment 118859 [details] Chromium (no places) SUMMARY The full list of places seems unavailable in may apps that use kdialog STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to an app (I used keepassxc, but it seems that Falkon would do the same) 2. Right Click in the Places column 3. Add Entry 4. Reboot OBSERVED RESULT The new entry is visible in Dolphin and Kate, but not Falkon or Keepassxc. EXPECTED RESULT All file dialogs should look the same.
