No longer maintainer of that plugin, so removing myself from CC: Partially duplicate of #386265. "Cannot type spaces", is that with the Okular plugin for the preview? "It would be nice if F5 reloads the document" - in the preview? For that best file a separate bug report/feature request. F5 though is bound to reloading the actual main document, that might need a separate shortcut to trigger an update of the preview. "Cannot type spaces" Yes, the Okular plugin is displayed. Ok, i create a new bug for the latter. Additionally (beside Space) 'b' key does not work in editor when preview is enabled. Also can't use any shortcut (ambiguous shortcut error). Kate 19.04.1 KDE Frameworks 5.58.0 Qt 5.12.0 (built against 5.12.0) Kubuntu/KDE Neon. I have this issue, too, on Kate 19.08.3. Document preview is broken and unusable, due to this bug. Kile also uses Okular for preview and works okay. Can confirm this is a partial issue on latest Kate from git master. Ctrl + S works Space bar works (creates space in document) Ctrl + F shows ambiguous shortcut error when it isn't, in shortcuts I searched for Ctrl+F and only found one shortcut. Still is an issue on 21.04 *** Bug 443709 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 417147 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 386265 *** |
