Seems to work here, I see underscores in filenames in the open recent menu in kate. Yes, fixed as of: Kate 21.04.2 Operating System: KDE neon 5.22 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 |
Created attachment 118776 [details] Underscores become accelerators in Open Recent menu SUMMARY When a file like ADC_control.h was edited in Kate, it appears in the Open Recent menu. But the underscore is missing, and the ‘c’ becomes an accelerator key instead. (Like ‘&’ in QLabel does.) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open ADC_control.h 2. Close ADC_control.h 3. (Do not know when files get into Open Recent menu.) 4. Open ADC_control.h from Open Recent menu. OBSERVED RESULT Option to open ADCcontrol.h appears, which actually opens ADC_control.h. Underscores in the URL in sqare brackets are simply removed: ADCcontrol.h [blah/blah/ADCcontrol.h] EXPECTED RESULT ADC_control.h [blah/blah/ADC_control.h] SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Kate 18.12.3 KDE Neon 5.15 KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.56.0 Qt Version: 5.12.0 (I think I already observed this behaviour before.)
