vkcube stutters and there are even graphical glitches on XWayland (with and without window focus)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run vkcube on Plasma X11
2. Run vkcube on Plasma Wayland (xwayland)

OBSERVED RESULT
vkcube stutters on Wayland and there are graphical glitches


EXPECTED RESULT
vkqube works in XWayland as on X11

I don't think KWin has something to do with it, this issue is present in GNOME Shell as well. It might be worth to file a bug report against xwayland.
