Description tomasz 2019-03-09 04:14:09 UTC
SUMMARY
There are no menus on the top title bar - or whatever it's called.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. No sure what I did - but as of a couple weeks ago all menus on the title bar are missing (Browse, Album, Tag, Item, View, etc)
2. Every time I run Digikam it does it
3. This never happened to me before

OBSERVED RESULT
Missing menus

EXPECTED RESULT
Menus should be present

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 19.04
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Once it started happening (when I was using 6.0 Beta 3) - running a released 6.0 and 6.1 beta makes no difference - menus are not there.

I suspect it's some kind of a set up option - but don't know where to look.

From icon view, use context menu. On the top, there is an option to restore main menu visibility.

Alternative : "CTRL+M'

Thank for a very quick reply. CTRL+M did the trick.

The other option (right click, "Show Menubar") took a long time to find even with your description. So I guess it's not all too obvious.
