SUMMARY
Create an addressbook - doen't matter whether it's Google contacts, the default personal contacts of kaddressbook or a VCard-folder ressource - trying to create a subfolder within fails with: 

"Could not create address book folder. Could not create collection XYZ, resourceID: 37"

EXPECTED RESULT
Creating subfolders (as option in the context menu indicates) is a core functionality - it should work.

This seems to be a duplicate - I commmented there also and changed to CONFIRMED.
