SUMMARY
Adding my printer fails on KDE Neon 15.2

This worked perfectly fine on KDE from Manjaro, also worked on Ubuntu 18.10 for me. Also worked on Linux Mint 19.1. Also worked on Elementary OS Juno.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add printer, it attempted to find a device. It found the exact device, then a QT window popped up in the background to download open source driver. I clicked ok but it seemed to silently fail without error.
2. Continued to add printer, it seemed to succeed. No error, it popped up in list after nearly 20 seconds of waiting.
3. Print test page failed.

OBSERVED RESULT
Add correct printer, it fails.

EXPECTED RESULT
Add correct printer it succeeds. The download window to download open source driver is not opened in the background nearly hidden from view.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I added my printer as a Generic Laser Printer instead and it works perfectly fine. But I should be able to use the specific driver like on other distros.
