It seems you have a not properly compiled Kdenlive version. Created attachment 118520 [details] The Save as and open window looks like this SUMMARY After opening Kdenlive click the "Open" button and the window to search the project file does not appear, hanging the program. The same happens when the option "Save as" is pressed. If I double-click on the project file, the following message appears when opening kdenlive: "It is not possible to open the project file Open a backup file? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the kdenlive application 2.Click on File 3. Click Open or click Save as ,,. OBSERVED RESULT The window to find the directory of the file to open does not appear to be hanging. EXPECTED RESULT I should open the directories window. SOFTWARE / OS VERSIONS Linux Lubuntu 18.04 LTS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The project I open it in a PC with similar specifications that uses Linux Mint and it worked without problems at least a priori
