Klipper's functionality is basically non-existent in a Wayland session, which makes the whole Plasma Wayland session unusable for me. It works fine in Gnome with Gpaste (also with xwayland), so some traction would really be appreciated. I think it would be better to collect these issues as a single Klipper Wayland issue though. SUMMARY Not always the problem ocuurs. Sometimes nothing happens when I try to paste the text copied from Dophin, sometines destination app (Kate) apparently crashes (it disappears from my screen but coredumpctl shows no crash), sometimes the text is pasted as expected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. start Wayland session 2. open kate and dolphin 3. select any file/folder in Dolphin, press F2, press ctrl+c to copy the file/folder name 4. back to kate, right click on the text area ("Paste" is enabled in the context menu), select "Paste" OBSERVED RESULT Sometimes nothing happens or kate closes/crashes EXPECTED RESULT text is always pasted SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.55.0 Qt Version: 5.12.1
