SUMMARY
When power management fails for some reason, Power management KCM says
"The power management service appears not to be running.
This can be solved by starting or scheduling it inside Startup and Shutdown".

However, "Startup and Shutdown" KCM shows no service related to power management. See the screenshots please.

Yeah, it's no longer a service but autostarted application, the wording should probably be changed :)

I am more curious why it's not running/why it crashed, though.

Currently it's not crashing anymore.
Today I killed powerdevil manually to test if this issue is still valid. :)
