The setting "number of messages to show in the timeline" needs the following improvements:

1. Apply the setting only to already read messages, keeping unread messages no matter how many of those there are (or at least give that as an option)

2. Allow the number to be set to 0 (right now it has to be >= 1)

Asking because I'm not interested in seeing messages I already saw before (point 2 above), but I certainly do not want my unread messages to vanish if I need to restart choqok, for instance if I need to reboot my computer (point 1 above).

Choqok is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/network/choqok

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.
