Also, memory usage. Before the switch, I had - ~250MB mysqld process - ~200MB akonadi-server - ~200MB .. 300MB Kontact Now I have just ~250MB Thunderbird memory usage. I'm sure this is a sound technical solution and I applaud the effort - after all, this worked beautifully for some weeks. But it really needs to be more robust against race conditions and the like. > Please close this bug only after Akonadi has been made either significantly more robust or replaced by something more robust. This won't work, because you are reporting a crash, which is processed by our crash duplicate finder. I doubt it makes sense to report a meta bug.
