Can you explain how you closed Konsole (X icon, Ctrl+d, etc)?  I can't get it to crash ATM

With X, it doesn't always crash. TBH it actually happens quite rarely.

here konsole always crashes under Wayland when closed while two or more tabs are open. I see a window asking for confirmation to exit, I click the button to close konsole and plasma shows a crash notification.

Jari, if you have a backtrace for a crash when not using Wayland, please report it as a separate ticket. Backtrace from comment #0 can only happen in Wayland.
