SUMMARY
When you open an SVG with Krita, it will show an Import SVG dialogue box while Krita is opening. However, Krita's splash screen is waiting for that dialogue to be closed before it goes away. The result is, it ends up covering the Import SVG dialogue.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Find an SVG file
2. Open it with Krita from the file manager
3. The splash screen will seem "stuck" but in reality, a dialogue is just hidden beneath it waiting for user input.

EXPECTED RESULT
Either the splash screen shouldn't wait for the Import SVG dialogue to close, or the splash screen should be beneath it. I think the former is a better approach than the latter.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: elementary OS 5.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I get around this by blindly pressing Enter on the keyboard which gets the OK button clicked in the dialogue, closing it.

On Windows the splash screen does go away before the "Import SVG" dialog is opened.

Yeah, this must be fixed in 4.2 given that the splash pop-up has been replaced with the welcome screen.
