SUMMARY
So I have downloaded the QCH (Qt help file) for C++ Reference from https://en.cppreference.com/w/Cppreference:Archives .
After installing it with KDevelop 5.3.1 I opened the documentation bar, clicked on one of the links there and then it crashes immediately. Reproduces every time.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download and install QCH documentation
2. Open Documentation tab and click on the documenation name to show
3. Inside documenation opened click on any title/link, and see KDevelop crashing

no one else tested this? i guess this is a serious problem... this reproduces on different systems i've tried.

Thanks for the backtrace.

This seems a known issue then, triggered by Qt 5.12, which also got fixed already in the development versions of KDevelop.
Maintainers are aware of that and looking into finding time over other things in life to get a 5.3.2 release done soonish which contains the fix.
