SUMMARY
Kdenlive doesn't warn for different project profile if a folder is added first to the project bin.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to settings, and make sure that "Check if first added clip matches project profile." is selected.
2. Create a new project, then create a folder in the project bin.
3. Add a video clip, which is different than the project. (for example the resolution or fps is different)

OBSERVED RESULT
Kdenlive doesn't warn that the added video is different than the project.

EXPECTED RESULT
When the first video clip is added, kdenlive should warn that the video clip is different than the project.

Good catch. Thanks for reporting.

Even in the Refactoring version that happened. As soon as you have a folder in the project bin the detection doesn’t work.
