Is it just dolphin or any Qt/KDE application? Kate does the right thing - black on white. Couldn't get other apps to work on Mac yet. So it seems only dolphin does it. Created attachment 122737 [details]

Can confirm it. This bug creates an issue with overcoming another bug in Dolphin - when Mac OS X is switched to Dark theme the main area is not switching to the new color (though the sidebar is behaving as expected).
