This is probably either an issue of frameworks or systemsetting Thank you for the quick response but I'm a newbie in Linux...I mean the problem is from Manjaro ? Is there another solution than to add them again ? I think was problem is that the backup file scheme was made from a previous version of KDE Plasma I think the problem was that the backup file scheme was made from a previous version of KDE Plasma Same thing on my system. I exported, via the "global shortcuts" kcm, the global shortcuts that I created to open Dolphin and Konsole, I imported the shortcuts scheme to another user account on my system and nothing happened. The "imported" shortcuts not even are listed in the "global shortcuts" kcm. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.57.0 Qt Version: 5.12.3 |
Created attachment 117807 [details] after copying manually the files kglobalshortcutsrc and khotkeysrc I have installed a fresh Manjaro KDE with KDE Plasma Version 5.14.5 version. When I tried to import my saved Global Shortcuts Scheme, nothing happens. At the "Standard scheme:" I left the field blank. Next I have overwritten the files kglobalshortcutsrc and khotkeysrc in ~/.config , saved from the old OS. Then the shortcuts appeared (like in the attached photo) but no shortcut key works for them, even if I assign them with different hotkeys. The only method is to delete the shortcut all together and adding it back again, which defeats the purpose of backing up and restoring them. Sorry if I missed some other info.
