SUMMARY

Kubuntu NVIDIA Driver randomly fails every few weeks and places me back in 640X480 mode. 

This issue is reported in many sites by different people and no one does anything to fix it. I'm sure this site will be no different.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Spin USB around 3 times

I've repaired this many times by purging all nvidia drivers and re-installing.
