Description cos.lyk 2019-01-28 21:32:10 UTC
SUMMARY
The QWebEngine in KDE runtime can't play H.264 videos on the Internet. It seems that the support for proprietary codecs in QWebEngine is not enabled. Is it possible to enable it? See https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtwebengine-features.html
Or if there is a license problem, is it OK to make it as a runtime plugin or as a BaseApp?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use QWebEngine in Flatpak runtime to open a website with H.264 videos

OBSERVED RESULT
Video cannot be played

EXPECTED RESULT
Video should be played

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: LinuxMint 19.1 Mate
