SUMMARY

I'm not entirely sure about the circumstances. I often see kdeconnect crash after I receive some notification from the phone. It doesn't happen for all notifications, but my impression is that it happens quite frequently for notifications which use an icon, which isn't just the app's icon. For example, the notifications from the official Twitter app includes the favicon from the respective Twitter account.
I suspect it might take some time to load, which causes the crash in knotifications because it isn't available yet.

We might have fixed that with https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdeconnect-kde/commit/74e7a90cd8d5752bc1dd17247ad41fdee6c0835a

Any chance you could verify that?

Yes, that seems to have helped as far as I can tell. No crash in the last 3 days.
