SUMMARY
When trying to upload an image to google, an error message is displayed:

Error transferring https://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/api/user/default - server replied: Bad Request

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. mark image
2. goto export google picasa/photos
3. error occurs (before the real image upload)

OBSERVED RESULT
error message:
Error transferring https://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/api/user/default - server replied: Bad Request

EXPECTED RESULT
image upload

accessing google picasa/photos works flawless via browsewr (and the same account)

The Picasa web API is outdated. In digiKam-6.0.0, the uploader has been ported to Google Photo.

Make a backup of the database, digiKam-6.0.0 makes changes if you want to return to an older version.

Please post the error message at bug 400187. You cannot upload to albums that have a lock icon. This is not a digiKam bug, but a Google restriction.
