SUMMARY

I am aware that this issue was moved and then resolved...
but (at phabricator: https://phabricator.kde.org/T9877 ) 
it was concluded to work with refactoring branch...
which is somehow not true for this version: 18.12.1  (appimage: kdenlive-18.12.1b-x86_64)


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create new title clip
2. place it on the timeline
3. try to disable it (right click, disable clip)

OBSERVED RESULT
nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
it should be disabled (made invisible)

Kdenlive
Version 18.12.1

Using:
MLT version 6.13.0
FFmpeg libraries

KDE Frameworks 5.53.0
Qt 5.11.2 (built against 5.11.2)

Confirmed. Not working in the released version 18.12.1

It works in the upcoming refactoring version.

It seems that this report is related to a very old unmaintained version. A lot changed since then and it is likely that this has been fixed. Feel free to reopen this bug or create a new report if this is still happening with the latest version (https://kdenlive.org/en/download/)
