Originally reported as Kaffeine bug - Bug ID 400815

Having recently installed Neon 18.04, kaffeine no longer recognises the existence of the tuner card - in fact the Start pane in kaffeine lacks the 
'Digital TV' box and the 'Television' menu entry.

Response to Bug ID 400815 is that this is a packaging bug - this version of Kaffeine has been compiled without Digital TV support.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Neon 18.04

2. Install kaffeine from the Neon repos.

3. Start up kaffeine

OBSERVED RESULT
No 'Digital TV' box on Start panel and no 'Television' on menu bar.

EXPECTED RESULT
'Digital TV' box on Start panel and 'Television' option on menu bar.

rebuilding with missing libudev-dev

(We have semi-automated checks for missing build deps but kaffeine doesn't report the missing dep in the normal way so it wasn't picked up)

Updated to kaffeine_2.0.16-2-0xneon+18.04+bionic+build7.

Problem fixed, Digital TV working ok!
