SUMMARY
Crashes after closing without doing anything after program launched.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. After the program launches, do nothing, and select File > Quit

OBSERVED RESULT
Stopped with error "Segmentation fault"

EXPECTED RESULT
Exit normally.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating system: LMDE 3 Cindy


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It did not crash during the first run, which was aborted because of missing dependencies.

This is the screenshot captured in first run. packages frei0r-plugins, dvdauthor, vlc were installed during first run. `Abort' was clicked after installation of above packages, and Kdenlive did not crash after first run.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 18.12.0e
https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ 

Run the Appimage from the terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T). Move to the AppImage folder and run the .AppImage: ./Kdenlive*.AppImage
