All import or export tools are no longer plugins, but an integral part of digiKam. Therefore there is no module section in the settings. We can change the bug report to a wish if you want to hide certain modules in the main menu, but the modules are still part of digiKam. Maik The KIO import/export tool do not exist in Windows version as it do not work. The origin is the use of KDE KIO API which is not portable due to huge run-time dependencies. So, the tool is simply disable under Windows while compiling. Gilles Caulier ok, many thanks for treating my false bug-report. I think for all the people not using any/many network services, it would be quite nice to be able clean up the interface and remove all unnecessary export-options from the menu, as it had been possible older versons of Digikam. Therefore it would make sense to transform this bug-report to wishlist. (but if it was a conscious design decision to remove the options for cusomising these menus, that's fine with me too). For this request, of configurable export tool in menu, all tool must be converted to a new plugin architecture, not based on KIPI and KDE API. This is partially done in a dedicated branch named "dplugins" in git, and it's not yet complete. It's planed to introduce this feature later while 6.x releases plan.
