Additionally, alt+dragging these labels cause a plasmashell (possibly kwin) crash. I can reproduce every time. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 385672 *** |
Created attachment 117055 [details] Screenshot showing two monitor identification popups on the same screen SUMMARY When clicking on the "i" in the monitor list, all of the tooltips appear on the same screen (see attached screenshot). That might be due to Wayland not allowing manual control of window placement. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch a Wayland session with multiple screens attached 2. Open the kscreen kcm 3. Click the "i" icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen view. OBSERVED RESULT A couple popups appear on the same screen as the mouse or kcm. EXPECTED RESULT Each popup should be placed on the appropriate screen SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux, kernel 4.19.11 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.53.0 Qt Version: 5.12.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Mesa 18.3.1 w/ R9 Fury
