Dear all, 

I would like to suggest a feature by which clicking the extension icon would play/pause the current playback.

Would you want to consider such a feature?

You mean the Plasma icon in the browser toolbar?

Interesting idea. Not sure if one can catch a "click" event.
In a future release I want to add some functionality to the menu, e.g. the ability to blacklist media controls for certain websites and others. I'll consider this feature when (won't neccessarily be soon) I come around to implement a menu there.

On click of the icon, it jumps to the actively playing tab.
