Difference between tray icon and CLI
There's an option to "refresh" on the plasmoid, can you check if it changes it? Also can you try running "plasmawindowed org.kde.discovernotifier" and see if it shows the right information? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 394043 *** For me Discover wouldn't show the flatpaks updates pending, even though the tray icon would report them.
