SUMMARY
Touchscreen keyboard on Wayland doesn't show up anymore. It used to but now doesn't. I am on Kubuntu with Falkon nightly from Flatpak.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. touch text input
2.

OBSERVED RESULT
nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
virtual keyboard should show up

That's most likely issue with your window manager.

I've done some testing on my laptop with Wayland and enabled the Virtual Keyboard. It's good but it's still a bit inconsistent. I imagine this is dependant on a lot of different parts of the system for detection etc.
