just tested on my kde neon 5.14.4 searched for snaps i have never looked for before and they came up within a second. i am using and SSD KDE Frameworks 5.53.0 Qt 5.11.2 (built against 5.11.2) what hardware are you running this on? OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM 256GB SSD I just rebooted my computer, started Discover and searched for PyCharm. It took 3 minutes to get search results. Again, using the CLI yielded results in <1 second. After finding PyCharm, all subsequent searches for snaps in Discover also returned results within a second. Let me know if I can somehow help tracking down the problem. Still existent in 5.15.1. CLI search for snap finishes in <1s. Discover takes >1 min. Is there a way to debug this? |
