Did you do an update recently without rebooting? Yes, I don't reboot unless changing hardware, kernel or something is 'broken' rendering the system useless. I've just rebooted it and it now works. Is it possible to write updates in a way that does not require reboots? You do not really need to reboot, but logout of the currently running Plasma session, whenever you are updating Qt or KDE components. Probably also could have restarted kdeinit "or something is 'broken' rendering the system useless." I guess this qualifies. |
