Um... Windows Vista is not Windows 7, and indeed, we cannot support Vista: see http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/supported-platforms.html . So I don't see how this is a bug? |
Created attachment 116839 [details] error message box SUMMARY Krita-x86-4.1.5-SetUp.exe does not appear to recognize Windows Vista Home Premium 2007 service pack 1 running on a Toshiba Satellite L305 laptop as Windows 7 or above. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. on a Toshiba Satellite L305 laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium 2007 service pack 1, 2. download Krita-x86-4.1.5-SetUp.exe, 3. run Krita-x86-4.1.5-SetUp.exe with administrative permission. OBSERVED RESULT An error message box appears with title: Krita (x86) 4.1.5 SetUp message: Krita (x86) 4.1.5 requires Windows 7 or above. EXPECTED RESULT Successful installation would be desirable. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows Vista Home Premium 2007 service pack 1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Copy of error message box attached.
