Not clear what the issue is. Can you attach screenshots or a screen recording? This is a wish for adding a left page with issues and optimizations for users that aren't familiar with console - with buttons like remove db lock file - if previous installation failed, remove orphan packages button, remove package cache, 'apt-get check' button, etc. I am using kde 5.26.4. Discover has an appstream error in Kali with no programs in discover and will not give me any access to programs. Can this be fixed? That issue is not related to this bug report. Furthermore, Kali Linux is not appropriate for general use, and you will find a million and a half other little weirdnesses like that, because running everything as root is explicitly unsupported and never recommended. I would encourage you to re-install your system with a more appropriate general-purpose Linux distro, such as one of the ones you can see at https://kde.org/distributions. |
