As a regular music listener, I often need to edit music tracks metadata. As a standalone complex tool I use Kid3, but I would find it useful to have a more "on the go" option available when handling individual files in Dolphin.
I've tried to use this extension called "AudioMetadata", but it is deprecated and I've been unable to make it work. Perhaps a good source to start from, however.

Already implemented in read-only form in Bug 384194.

I don't think it's feasible to add the ability to edit metadata inline though. That would open a huge can of worms and make Dolphin play a game it isn't going to ever be any good at.
