I'm using kontact 18.11.80 in opensuse leap 15.0. Kontact crashes when opening email in kmail. The only way to read the mail within kontact is to forward a copy with content inline and read it from the draft. The backtrace is exactly as Robby Englemann above. Created attachment 116683 [details]

kmail (5.9.90 rc) using Qt 5.11.2
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Opening an Mail in Kontacts Kmail or Kmail.
In konsole I get: "[warn] epoll_wait: Bad file descriptor" if that helps
This bug is still appearing in KDE Apps 18.12 RC

The bug is still valid for me in the final release. I released though, that when I activate the mail preview pane in kmail settings, I can again open mails by double-click.
